Rich Chocolate Brownies Made Using Silken Tofu

This is a healthy brownie made using tofu. But it has a rich, decadent aftertaste. It tastes nothing of tofu and it's very tasty.

Ingredients: 2-3 small pound cake tins

Silken tofu
2 (150 g each)
Egg
1
Granulated sugar
5-6 tablespoons
Chocolate bar (milk chocolate and dark chocolate)
2 dark, 1 milk
Milk
2 tablespoons
◎White flour
50 g
◎Katakuriko
2 tablespoons
◎Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
3 tablespoons
◎Baking powder
1 teaspoon
Almond, chocolate, etc. for topping
as needed
A liquor, like brandy or rum
3 tablespoons

Steps

1. [Preparation] Lightly drain the tofu. Sift together the dry ingredients marked with ◎. Chop up the chocolates. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Put the tofu in a large bowl and mix with a whisk. Mix thoroughly until it has become creamy and there are no lumps.
3. Once creamy, add the egg and the sugar in that order and combine after each addition.
4. Meanwhile, combine the chocolates and the milk and microwave it at 500 W for 40 seconds-1 minute (watch it and adjust the cooking time). Blend with a spoon.
5. Once the chocolates are melted, add to the bowl from Step 3 and combine thoroughly.
6. When the chocolate have integrated, mix in the sifted ◎ ingredients and combine with the whisk.
7. Once combined, add the liquor of your choice and mix one more time. Pour the batter into the cake tins and top with chocolates, nuts, etc..
8. Bake for about 40 minutes in the preheated oven to finish. Once it has cooled, wrap with plastic wrap and chill it in the fridge, for an even better taste.

My family loves tofu so I thought that maybe I could make something with tofu and chocolate. You won't feel the tofu at all, even though it uses lots of it. You'll be hooked on its decadent texture.
