Ground Beef Hamburger Patties With Raw Onions

Ground Beef Hamburger Patties With Raw Onions

These patties are deliciously juicy without having to use mixed ground meat. (You can also make tasty patties with mixed ground meat in the same amounts).

Ingredients: 4 servings

Ground beef
500 g
Onion (medium)
1 1/2
Panko (or white bread)
3 tablespoons (1 thin slice)
Enough to soak the bread crumbs in
Ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon
Beef stock cubes
1/2 teaspoon
a small amount
Oil (to cook)
as needed
For the sauce:
●Soy sauce
2 tablespoons
●Tonkatsu sauce
3 tablespoons
3 tablespoons

1. Take the ground beef from the refrigerator and let it sit for 10-20 minutes. At the same time, soak the panko in the milk.
2. Smash up the beef stock cubes into a powder. This is the beef stock that I used.
3. Use a food processor to finely mince the onions. Then add the egg and turn it on for about 5 seconds.
4. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl (lightly drain the milk from the panko) and use your hands to mix them together until the mixture becomes sticky.
5. Separate the mixture into 4, make each portion into a patty shape, and cook them in a frying pan.
6. Remove the meat from the pan. Mix the ● ingredients in to the meat juices. Put the hamburger back in the pan and mix it with the juices while cooking them down.

Story Behind this Recipe

They don't sell mixed ground meat in England. So I mixed in raw onions and tried making it with just ground beef. It was juicy and delicious.
