Super Easy! Whole Onion Steamed in a Microwave

The combination of butter and soy sauce is delicious!

Ingredients: 2 servings

Sweet new harvest onions
2 medium
Butter
about 20 g
Soy sauce
to taste
Powdered parsley
as needed

Steps

1. Peel the onion and cut off the top and bottom ends.
2. Place the onion upside down, then make cross-slits. Top with 10 g of butter.
3. Wrap lightly with plastic wrap and microwave for 5 minutes.
4. Remove the plastic wrap, flip it over, and drizzle with some soy sauce. Top with the powdered parsley.

I looked online for a good way to eat up sweet new harvest onions. At my workplace, I tried microwaving an onion with butter and it was a bit hit!
