Kids' Favorite, Braised Chinese Cabbage in Cream Sauce

It only takes 10 minutes to cook You can easily make it using only milk Since you only need to simmer the ingredients, it will be ready while you are cooking something other dishes. It's very nutritious It's great for using up leftover Chinese cabbage.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Chinese cabbage
3-4 leaves
Milk
200 ml
Ham, bacon or wiener sausages
2 sheets (or 2 sausages)
Consommé cube
1 (or 1/2 tablespoon of consommé granules)
Salt
to taste
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
☆ Flour or rice flour
1 tablespoon
☆ Water
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Cut the Chinese cabbage into 8 pieces, separate the stem part and leaf part. Cut the hard stem into 4 pieces. Cut the ham into thin strips.
2. Heat a frying pan over medium-low heat, and add the sesame oil. Add the stems and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Add the leaves and ham, and continue stir-frying for another 1 minute.
3. Add the milk and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Turn down the heat to low, add the consommé cube, and adjust the flavour with salt. Stir in the ☆ mixture. When the sauce is thickened, it's ready to be served.
