Cheap, Quick Half-cooked Egg Over Rice

Cheap, Quick Half-cooked Egg Over Rice

For breakfast or a late night snack.

I added only Ajinomoto seasoning to the fried egg.
Let's make a half-cooked egg!

Umami seasoning
a small amount
Soy sauce
to taste
Salt and pepper
to taste

1. I recommend this easy onion egg recipe for the fried egg ✩ Recipe ID: 2481702
2. Of course you can also just make a sunny side up ✩ You can fry it however you like but I recommend half-cooked! Add salt and pepper to taste!
3. When the white of the egg is cooked enough so that it is bubbling, cover with a lid and remove from heat. Leave to rest for a minute. This way the yolk will not be completely cooked!
4. Place the fried egg on cooked white rice. Add plenty of Ajinomoto seasoning on the egg yolk!
5. Enjoy the creamy half-cooked egg with Ajinomoto seasoning on top of rice. If the flavoring is not enough, feel free to add soy sauce.

Story Behind this Recipe

I saw a commercial for Ajinomoto a long time ago in which the actor Shun Oguri added Ajinomoto seasoning to a raw egg over rice and it looked so delicious!
I wanted to try that so I made a meal that reminded me of living alone and buying Ajinomoto seasoning for the first time.

Ajinomoto seasoning really brings out the umami flavor of the ingredients, doesn't it?
