Squid Stir-Fried with Buttered Potatoes

Butter and soy sauce goes so well with some plump squid! This dish is great with rice or even as a drinking appetizer.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Squid (gutted)
Green onions (finely sliced)
as needed
as needed
Garlic (minced)
2 cloves
☆ Soy sauce
1 1/2 tablespoons
☆ Butter
2 tablespoons
Salt and pepper
to taste


1. Peel the potatoes and chop into bite-sized pieces. Put them into a heat-proof container and microwave for 5 minutes.
2. Pat dry the squid, and cut into rings.
3. Heat some oil in a frying pan. Sauté the garlic. Once the garlic is fragrant, add the squid and potatoes to stir-fry.
4. Add the ☆ ingredients into the frying pan. Season with salt and pepper. Dish it up, and scatter in some green onions.

My children love butter and soy sauce. So, I made a side dish using this combination with the ingredients I had in the fridge.
