Wiener Sausages Covered in Ketchup

I think the mustard complements the richness of the ketchup very well.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Wiener sausages
1 pack
1 tablespoon plus - as you like
Grainy mustard
1 teaspoon plus - as you like
A small amount


1. Make fine diagonal cuts in the sausages.
2. Add oil to a heated pan and fry the sausages.
3. When they are cooked through, add ketchup and mustard, and coat.

Story Behind this Recipe

My mother once made this. It was really good even though it was only flavoured with ketchup and mustard. Since then I've repeatedly made it. It's nice chilled too, so you can pack it in bentos.
