Sesame Soy Milk Soup with Ra-Yu

Sesame seeds and soy milk are great for your health and also for your skin, nails, hair, etc. The ra-yu gives this soup an extra kick!

Ingredients: 2 generous servings

200 ml
Chicken stock granules
1 tablespoon
☆ Assortmed mushrooms
approx. 100 g
☆ Cellophane noodles or Malony noodles
as needed
☆Chinese cabbage
1/8 head
Soy milk
300 ml
Ground sesame seeds
2 scant tablespoons
Soy sauce
1/2-1 tablespoon
1/2-1 tablespoon
Ra-yu or chunky ra-yu
as needed


1. Combine the water and chicken stock granules in a pot, and turn on the heat. Chop the cabbage as desired and set aside.
2. Once the water comes to a boil, add the ☆ marked ingredients. Once the ☆ ingredients are cooked, reduce the heat to low and add the soy milk and ground sesame seeds. Mix using a ladle.
3. Season with soy sauce and mirin, transfer to a serving dish, and drizzle with ra-yu as desired.

I had leftover soy milk that I didn't want to go to waste, so I made a soy milk and sesame soup with ra-yu for a kick.
