Hollow out the middle of tofu with a spoon, and put an egg inside the well.
Microwave it for about 1 minute (make sure not to let it explode) and stop microwaving when egg is half-way done.
Put green scallions and ponzu sauce on it! Top with grated ginger as well if you want!

Japanese restaurants I often go to used to have this kind of recipe, but they stopped providing it, so I tried making it by myself.
It's easy to make but really good. Cheap tofu can be transformed into Kaiseki-style tofu! The amount of tofu depends on the size of the bowl. You can use the hollowed out part of the tofu for miso soup!
