Tofu and Celery Chinese Stir-fry in 5 minutes

Celery apparently has cancer fighting properties.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Tofu (firm)
1 small block (170 g)
Leek (optional)
Ginger (julienned)
as needed
Sesame oil for stir frying
1 tablespoon
Ankake sauce:
80 ml
Chinese soup stock
1 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon


1. Cut the tofu into suitable-sized cubes and slice the celery diagonally. Mix the ankake sauce ingredients and set aside.
2. Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and cook the julienned ginger until fragrant.
3. Add the celery and leek to the frying pan from Step 2 and lightly sauté before adding the tofu. Add the ankake sauce prepared in Step 1 and once mixture has thickened, it is finished.
4. When you have time, you can refrigerate the julienned ginger for later use. See (Recipe ID: 2295055).

Story Behind this Recipe

Since I love celery, this is my signature dish.
By the way, garlic has the most cancer fighting properties of all the vegetables.
