Chinese-Style Cold Tofu

Enjoy this chilled tofu with sesame oil and salt. The crunchy cucumbers make a nice accent.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Tofu
1 small block
Cucumber
1
Salt
to taste
Sesame oil
to taste

Steps

1. Wrap the tofu in a paper towel and let it sit for awhile.
2. Thinly slice the cucumber and rub it with salt. Afterwards, squeeze out the moisture.
3. Lightly sprinkle good salt on the tofu and top with the cucumber. Pour some sesame oil over the top.

Story Behind this Recipe

I was thinking that soy sauce is a bit too strong of a flavor, so since I like the combination of salt and sesame oil, I decided to try it. It was delicious!
