Homemade Tempeh Goleng (Indonesian)

I made a very authentic Tempe Goleng. This ratio of ingredients will definitely meet your expectations of Indonesian food.

Ingredients: 1 serving

5-6 pieces
White flour
1 tablespoon
A. Canned Tomatoes (or ketchup)
2 tablespoons
A. Chili Sauce (or doubanjiang)
1/2 teaspoon
Frying oil
as needed


1. Cut the tempeh into 1cm thick pieces and coat with flour. Heat a large amount of oil in a frying pan and deep-fry the tempeh.
2. Combine the A. ingredients to make the sauce.

Tempeh Goleng is an Indonesian dish made up of simple and spicy ingredients that go very well together. This is the only thing I order when I go to Indonesia. I wanted to make it in Japan, so I came up with this version.
