Sweet Potato with Gochujang

I coated moist sweet potatoes with sweet and spicy gochujang sauce.


Sweet potato
about 100 g
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
●Soy sauce
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
1 teaspoon
●Grated ginger
1 1/2 teaspoons plus
Roasted sesame seeds
to your liking


1. Soften the sweet potato by steaming or microwaving. Cut into 1 cm thick round slices or semicircular slices.
2. Mix the ● ingredients, and set aside.
3. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the Step 1 sweet potato until both sides are golden brown.
4. Swirl in the ● mixture. Coat the sweet potato with the sauce while shaking the pan.
5. When most of the moisture is almost gone, serve on a plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds if you like.
