Soften the sweet potato by steaming or microwaving. Cut into 1 cm thick round slices or semicircular slices.

Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Pan-fry the Step 1 sweet potato until both sides are golden brown.

When I was eating "Shiitake Mushroom with Gochujang (Recipe ID: 2398212)", I thought it might be good with sweet potatoes.
The seasoning might be too strong, depending on your taste. You can increase the amount of sweet potatoes if you like. Katakuriko is used in the shiitake mushroom version, but it's not used in this recipe. That's why you only need a bit of sesame oil.
