Seafood & Wakame Seaweed Salad

I made a wakame seaweed salad with ingredients that I had in my freezer It was quick and easy to make.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Wakame seaweed (fresh if available)
Imitation crab sticks
4 sticks-
Daikon radish
3 cm-
Shirasu (optional)
2 teaspoons-
Wakegi scallions (optional)
as needed
to taste
Sesame oil
to taste


1. Rehydrate the wakame and cut into bite-sized pieces. Grate the daikon radish.
2. Break up the crab sticks. If you refer to "How to Quickly Break Up Crab sticks" Recipe ID: 1929401 you should find this step quite easy.
3. Add the ingredients to a plate in the order of wakame seaweed, crab sticks, grated daikon radish, shirasu, then wakegi scallions. Drizzle over some sesame oil and ponzu and the salad is complete.
4. It's fine without the grated daikon radish. Give it a go.

Story Behind this Recipe

When I tried making a salad with ingredients in my freezer, I ended up with a seafood salad! It tasted great anyway, so I uploaded the recipe.
