Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

Cooking scallops in bacon fat gives a wonderful rich taste.

Ingredients: 8

Scallops
6
Bacon
8 slices
Butter
1 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Katakuriko
a pinch

Steps

1. Dust one side of the bacon with katakuriko and wrap around the scallops, then secure the ends with toothpicks. If the bacon slices are too wide, fold in half.
2. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the scallops, and cook both sides over low heat.
3. When the scallops are cooked through, drizzle soy sauce and cook until browned.
