Fluffy, Melt-in-your-mouth Kuromame Cupcakes

These cupcakes become even more delicious the next day. They're perfect as presents.

Ingredients: 4 cupcakes using 4 x 4.5 cm cups

Kuromame (Recipe ID: 2370157) or storebought ones
50 g
50 g
1 egg
Sugar (soft light brown sugar if available)
35 g
Cake flour
40 g
Almond flour
20 g

1. I used the kuromame from Recipe ID: 2370157. You can use store bought ones too.
2. Preparation: Let the egg reach room temperature, and melt the butter in the microwave. Sift the flour and set it aside. Preheat your oven to 335℉ (170℃).
3. Add in the egg and sugar and mix with a whisk or a hand mixer until it's light-colored and thick. (It should be about 2-3 times larger.)
4. Now sift in the flour and the almond flour. Mix until it is no longer floury.
5. Add in the melted butter.
6. Fill the ramekins about 1/3 full of batter. Scatter the beans on top. If you are using toppings, then leave a little more space.
7. Top off the ramekins with the rest of the batter. You can top with more beans if you would like.
8. Bake for about 25 minutes in the oven preheated to 170°C (335°F) and they are done. Since the power of each oven varies, bake them for 20 minutes and then keep and eye on them until they are done.
