Seriously Delicious! Easy Sweet and Spicy Steamed Chicken Drumettes

This is a very delicious recipe. This is a popular, easy, and cheap recipe that can even be made for Christmas!

Ingredients: Serves 3 people

Chicken wing drumettes
12 drumettes
Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
Sugar
3 tablespoons
Sake
3 tablespoons
Vinegar
3 tablespoons
Mirin
3 tablespoons
Water
200 ml
Grated garlic
1/2 teaspoon
Grated ginger juice
1 tablespoon
Japanese leek
1 leek
Sesame oil
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Pat dry the drumettes. Put the sesame oil and the grated garlic into a frying pan and heat it up. Once it becomes fragrant, add in the drumettes.
2. On medium-high heat, roll them around in the pan gently. Cook until the skins change color.
3. Cut the leeks into 5cm long pieces and put them in. Then add in all the other ingredients.
4. Bring it to a boil on medium heat and then cover with an otoshibuta, or drop lid. From time to time, move them around while boiling them. Once the sauce has cooked down about halfway, take off the lid and keep simmering until the sauce has cooked down about 90%.
5. Finally, raise the heat to high and coat the wings in the sauce.
6. Transfer to a serving plate and it's done!
