Colourful Garlic Rice

This colourful green pepper and garlic rice makes a perfect side dish.

Ingredients: 3 servings

Hot cooked rice
250 g
Garlic, chopped
1/2 clove
Green pepper
1
Soup stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Butter or margarine
1-2 teaspoons
Salt
a small amount
Coarsely ground black pepper
a small amount

Steps

1. Finely chop the green pepper.
2. Put the butter and minced garlic in a frying pan, and turn on the heat.
3. When the garlic has browned, add the rice, and season with salt and black pepper.
4. Add the green pepper and mix everything together to finish.

Story Behind this Recipe

When my kids were young, I wanted to make sure they didn't become picky eaters, so I chopped up many different ingredients and mixed them into dishes. This rice is one of those dish.
