Fried Chicken (Tenderloin) Wrapped with Nori Seaweed, Great for Bento

Just wrapping the chicken with nori seaweed makes the dish even more delicious!!
Using tenderloins, I made fried chicken sticks that are easy to eat!

Ingredients

Chicken tenderloins
6
Nori seaweed
as needed
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Sake
1 tablespoon
Mirin
1 teaspoon
Beaten egg
1/2 small
All-purpose flour
1/4 cup (50 ml)

Steps

1. Cut each chicken tenderloin into 2-3 strips lengthwise. Add the soy sauce, sake, and mirin, then rub in the seasoning. Add the beaten egg, and coat with the flour.
2. When the chicken pieces are coated with the flour so that the nori seaweed will stick to them, cut the nori seaweed into the same size as the chicken.
3. Wrap the Step 1 chicken with the nori seaweed.
4. Deep fry, and you're done!

Story Behind this Recipe

My mother used to make this dish when I was a kid. I thought chicken sticks would be fun to eat, so I tried it with chicken tenderloins.
