Easy and Delicious! Milanese-Style Doria

It's a quick and inexpensive Milanese-style doria.
It's easy but tastes excellent!

Ingredients: 1 serving

Hot cooked white rice
200 g
Melting type cheese
as needed
1/2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon
Store-bought meat sauce
100 g
White sauce
Cake flour
10 g
10 g
120 ml
Consommé soup stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Salt and pepper
a small amount
Grated cheese
1 tablespoon

1. Dissolve the turmeric in 1 tablespoon of water, and mix with the rice in a bowl, then put in a heatproof dish.
2. Put the cake flour and butter in a heatproof bowl, microwave for 30 seconds, and mix well.
3. Gradually add the milk and mix so that there are no lumps. When it's well blended, add the consommé, grated cheese and a little bit of salt, and microwave for 20 seconds.
4. Remove from the microwave, and mix. Microwave for 15 seconds, and mix again. Microwave for another 15 seconds, mix, and the white sauce is ready.
5. Spread the white sauce on top of the turmeric rice. Sprinkle with melting type cheese if you like, and spread the meat sauce in the middle.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the surface is browned, and you're done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I tired replicating the Milanese-style doria from Saizeriya (an Italian restaurant chain in Japan).
