Basic Salt Ramen

Here's a recipe for basic shio (salt) ramen.
Add your favorite veggies, or make it even more flavorful with boiled eggs and/or nori seaweed. There are so many possible variations!

Ingredients: 1 serving

★ Mirin
1 tablespoon
★ Cooking sake
1 tablespoon
300 ml
☆ Salt
1/2 teaspoon
☆ Chicken stock powder
1 teaspoon
☆ Lard
1 teaspoon
Chopped green onion


1. Put all ★ ingredients in a pot. Simmer and reduce slightly.
2. Add water and bring to a boil. Add ☆ ingredients when it's nearly boiling. Cook the noodles.
3. Pour the boiled soup into a serving bowl. Add the cooked noodles into the bowl as well. Top with green onions.
4. Add char siu (Chinese-style roasted pork) or menma (pickled bamboo shoots) if you like.
