Restaurant served fried rice is delicious, but it packs 600-800 calories. For the sake of my health, I've been keeping track of calories, so the fried rice in our home is usually seasoned in the rice cooker. This method cuts half the calories and has plenty of volume! I created a recipe that will completely satisfy everyone!
The green section of the Japanese leek will give a lovely color to the fried rice, so I recommend using it. You can use Chinese chicken soup stock or Weipa, but Weipa has a lot of oil, so if using it, skip the sesame oil that's added to the rice. You can also use garlic powder instead of roasted garlic!
