Black Rice Futomaki Rolls with Wasabi Stems

Simple futomaki with black rice and fragrant wasabi stems for your bento.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Black rice
1 rice cooker cup worth (180 ml)
Mochi rice
1 rice cooker cup worth (180 ml)
Wasabi stem
1 stalk
White sesame seeds
to taste
Shiso leaves
8 leaves
Toasted nori seaweed
4 sheets

Steps

1. Measure the black rice and mochi rice.
2. Wash the rice, add to the rice cooker along with the proper amount of water, and let it sit for an hour (optional).
3. Mix A into the freshly cooked rice, julienne the wasabi stem and shiso leaves, and roll up.
