Banana Yogurt Steamed Bread Made with Pancake Mix

The batter will be ready in 5 minutes.
Bananas and yogurt make it soft and chewy.

Ingredients: 12-13 small cups

Ripe Banana
1 (net weight about 90 g)
100 g
50 ml
Pancake mix
200 g


1. It's best to use a ripe banana that has a darkened peel. Peel the banana, put into a bowl, and mash well.
2. Add the yogurt and milk, and mix well. Add the pancake mix as well, and mix some more.
3. Evenly pour the batter into the cups.
4. Fill a frying pan with 1 cm of water, and bring to a boil. Arrange the Step 3 cups, cover with a lid, and steam for 7-8 minutes over medium heat, then done.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had a black banana that I forgot for a while and leftover yogurt in the fridge. I thought they should be ok once they are cooked, so I made steamed bread using them and pancake mix. It turned out light and mildly sweet.
