This dish adds colour to the white rice in bento. I cooked baby scallops in salty-sweet sauce, and sprinkled bonito flakes. This dish whets your appetite.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Baby scallops
3 pieces
Sake
2 tablespoons
Mirin
2 tablespoons
Sugar
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Bonito flakes
1 pack

Steps

1. Add all the seasonings to a small pot. When the mixture starts to boil, add the baby scallops.
2. Cook until most of the sauce has evaporated.
3. Turn off the heat, and sprinkle bonito flakes.
4. It has plenty of umami from the baby scallops and bonito flakes.
