Pumpkin Potage

This is an easy to make potage soup.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Kabocha squash
500 g
5 g
Soup stock cube
2 g
150 g
400 g
3 g
Heavy cream
50 g


1. Remove the kabocha squash's skin and seeds and cut into small pieces so that it will be easy to soften. Slice the onion.
2. Add the water to the kabocha squash and simmer until soft.
3. Heat the butter in a frying pan and sauté the onions until translucent.
4. Add the onion to the kabocha squash and simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat.
5. Add the milk to Step 4 and blend in a blender.
6. Return Step 5 to the pot. Add the soup stock cube and salt and heat for 2~3 minutes.
7. Turn off the heat, add the heavy cream, mix, and serve.
