Tuna Steak with Korean Sauce

Just cook the tuna to rarely done, mix up the sauce, and just pour it on.

Ingredients: 4 servings

Maguro (lean tuna, sashimi quality)
600 g
Sesame seeds
to taste
Sesame oil (for stir frying)
as needed
♦ Soy sauce
4 tablespoons
♦Sesame oil
3 tablespoons
2 cloves
2 teaspoons
♦ Sugar
1 tablespoon
♦Salt and pepper
as needed
♦Sesame seeds
2 tablespoons


1. Grate the garlic and mash the sesame seeds for the sauce with your fingers. Combine the ♦ ingredients.
2. Cut the tuna into large, bite-sized pieces and coat with sesame seeds. Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and cook the tuna to rare (cook longer to taste).
3. Transfer to plates, top with sauce, and enjoy.
