How to Neatly Remove the Core of a Cabbage Recipe ID: 2507255

1. Cut the chicken and the cabbage into bite-sized pieces. I also used 1 small eggplant.
2. Heat olive oil in a pot. Lightly cook the surfaces of the chicken.
3. Add the cabbage and the ingredients. Cover with a lid and steam.
4. Remove the lid after 1-2 minutes. The chicken and the vegetables should be pretty much cooked through.
5. I recommend using an Italian brand of canned tomatoes.
6. Add the tomatoes and the ingredients. Cover with the lid again and simmer for 5 minutes.
7. Season with ★ and it's done.
8. Serve on a dish and, if you have it, garnish with basil.

Story Behind this Recipe

I often make simmered chicken and vegetables in tomato sauce, but today I had a lot of cabbage leftover so I tried making a simple cabbage and chicken dish.
