Delicious Naan Bread

Delicious Naan Bread

These are made in a frying pan, so you don't need an oven and they're ultra-easy! The combination of bread and cake flour creates a light yet chewy addictive texture.

Ingredients: 8 pieces

Bread (strong) flour
280 g
Cake flour
100 g
Skim milk powder
12 g
20 g
250 ml
5 g
10 g
☆Dry yeast
5 g
Olive oil
as needed

1. Put the dry ingredients and butter in a bread machine. Put the ☆ ingredients in a measuring cup and mix well. Add to the bread machine and start the "dough-only" setting.
2. When the dough is done, divide into 8 portions, deflate and roll into balls. Cover with a tightly wrung out moistened kitchen towel and rest for 15 minutes.
3. Roll the dough out to about 1cm thickness. Stretch one end to form the dough into a foot.
4. Put a generous amount of olive oil in a frying pan, and cook over medium heat.
5. After cooking one side for about 5 minutes, flip over and cook the other side for about 5 minutes. (If it's golden brown like this, it's good.)
6. When the bread is cooked, brush the surfaces with olive oil and they're done.

Story Behind this Recipe

Naan made only with bread flour tends to be tough, and only with cake flour only is not chewy enough, so I wanted to make a personalized version. This is the absolutely best naan I've ever made! Eat with keema curry.
