Agar Milk Jello

Jiggly & Soft. I made this dish with agar, but it still melts in my mouth.

Ingredients: 4 ~ 5 servings

Water
300 ml
Kanten powder
2 g
Milk
500 ml
Sugar
80 g
Syrup
Water
5 tablespoons
Sugar
2 tablespoons

Steps

1. Add water and powdered kanten in a pot, and dissolve.
2. Add milk and sugar, and warm while mixing.
3. Pour into molds, and chill in the fridge to harden.
4. Syrup: Mix the water and sugar, then microwave or warm in a pot until the sugar has dissolved.

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to make a slightly loose milk agar.
I arrived at this soft agar recipe after experimenting many times.
