Easy Homemade Gochujang - Just Mix

This is a homemade gochujang paste. It's very easy and doesn't require heating.
Please try using this sauce with various foods.

Ingredients: About 70 g

Miso
50 g
Light brown sugar (or white sugar)
5 teaspoons (25 g)
Ichimi spice
1 teaspoon
Doubanjiang
1 teaspoon
Mirin
1 tablespoon
Sesame oil
2 tablespoons
Grated garlic
4 cm from a tube
White sesame seeds
2 teaspoons

Steps

1. Mix the miso, light brown sugar, ichimi spice and doubanjiang together well.
2. Add the mirin and mix well.
3. Add the sesame oil and mix well.
4. Add the grated garlic and the sesame seeds, and mix well to finish.
5. This is used in Recipe ID: 2286923 "Easy! Sweet and Spicy Beef Soumen Using Bibin Noodles." This is a perfect dish for the hot summer.
6. A "Non-spicy Gochujang," was made without using ichimi spice or doubanjiang.

Story Behind this Recipe

When making Korean bibin noodles, you need some gochujang, so I made some with what ingredients I had at home.
