Delicious Tomato and Tuna Chilled Pasta

This has a fruity flavored sauce! This is a popular dish in my home during the summer.

Ingredients: 2 servings

200 g
Tomato (ripened)
Canned tuna (small)
2/3 a can
Shiso leaves
10 leaves
Olive oil
4 tablespoons
Chopped garlic
1/2 clove
*Lemon juice
1 tablespoon
*Balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons
2 teaspoons
1 teaspoon
*Coarsely ground pepper
to taste


1. Put 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small pot, add the garlic, and turn the heat to low. Turn off the heat when fragrant.
2. Boil water in a pot and parboil the tomatoes. Then, cut the tomatoes into 1 cm chunks. At this time, remove the stems.
3. Finely chop 6 shiso leaves and julienne 4 shiso leaves.
4. Put the garlic oil from Step 1 into a bowl with the * seasoning ingredients and the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a bowl and mix well.
5. Add the tomatoes from Step 4, the tuna, and the chopped shiso leaves and mix together. Chill in the refrigerator. (If you're in a rush, pop it in the freezer.)
6. Boil the pasta for a minute longer than the instructions on the package, rinse in running water, and chill in ice water.
7. Drain the pasta well and mix with the well-chilled sauce from Step 5. Transfer to dishes and garnish with the julienned shiso leaves.
