Octopus and Mushroom Ajillo in 5 Minutes

Octopus and Mushroom Ajillo in 5 Minutes

This ajillo will take just 3 minutes after you cut the ingredients! This is a dish that's served regularly in my household when we want to leisurely enjoy some wine. Enjoy the sauce with a baguette.

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Boiled octopus
1-2 legs
Brown cap mushrooms
1 clove
Olive oil
100-150 ml
☆White wine
2 tablespoons
☆Red chili pepper (cut)
a pinch
☆Dashi stock granules
1/4 bag
as needed (on the salty side)
☆Black pepper
as needed (quite a lot)
Fresh parsley
as needed

1. Roughly chop up the octopus. Quarter the mushrooms and mince the garlic.
2. Warm a gratin or casserole dish in the oven for about 5 minutes.
3. Put the olive oil in a milk pan (or small saucepan), and add the garlic, octopus, mushrooms and ☆ ingredients. Put the lid on and cook whilst slowly moving the pan back and forth to mix the ingredients.
4. Transfer to the piping hot casserole dish, sprinkle with parsley, and it's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

The ajillo I had at a Spanish bar was so good, I had to make it myself.
