Turnip Potage Soup in 10 Minutes

You only need 10 minutes to make this easy potage soup, packed with the sweetness from the turnip! It's also delicious chilled.

Ingredients: 2 servings

150 ml
Consommé soup stock cube
a small amount
to taste


1. Peel the turnip and slice thinly.
2. Boil the turnip in boiling water for 4-5 minutes. Boil until they are translucent.
3. Drain the turnip in a sieve, and blend in a blender. Blend until thick and creamy.
4. Combine the blended turnip, milk, and consommé cube in a pot.
5. Simmer over low heat for about 2 minutes, and season with salt to taste.
6. Pour into serving bowls, sprinkle on basil, and enjoy.
