Funassyi Charaben ‎

Here are some tips for a Funnassyi (Funabashi City's mascot) bento lunchbox!

Ingredients

Plain cooked rice
as needed
Egg for usuyaki tamago

Nori seaweed
to taste
Ketchup
to taste
Red food colouring
as needed
Green food coloring
as needed
Mayonnaise
to taste

Steps

1. Divide the beaten egg into two portions to prepare usuyaki tamago - one portion larger than the other. The large portion is for the face, and the small portion is for the mouth, ribbon, and leaves.
2. Divide the smaller portion of the beaten egg into two. Add red food coloring to one, green to the other, and fry. Let cool and then cut out the mouth, ribbon, and leaves.
3. Cut nori seaweed and use mayonnaise to glue it on the head. Use ketchup for the cheeks. It's done!
