Basil Sauce Pasta for One

You don't need tons of basil to make basil sauce.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Fresh basil
10 leaves (5 g)
Olive oil
2 teaspoons
Parmesan cheese (grated)
1 teaspoon
Garlic, minced
about 1/2 teaspoon
Ground sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon
1 pinch (with 3 fingers)
Dashi stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
Pasta of your choice
1 serving


1. Boil some water and cook the pasta. Make the sauce while the pasta is cooking! Rinse 10 leaves of basil and pat dry with a paper towel.
2. Finely chop the basil. To save time and effort, stack up the leaves and roll them up from the end to cut.
3. Put all the ingredients into a single bowl and mix.
4. When the pasta is cooked, drain, and toss with the sauce to finish!
5. Here's the basil from my garden. I got my 10 leaves of basil from this.

Story Behind this Recipe

I can't get a large quantity of basil from my garden, but I still wanted to eat basil sauce pasta. That's how I came up with this.
