Rice Balls with Soy Sauce, Bonito Flakes and Sesame Salt

This is a rice ball recipe that's slightly sweetened with soy sauce and bonito flakes. Pack in your obento or serve for lunch.

Ingredients: 1 serving : 2-3 rice balls

Plain cooked rice
180g
☆ Bonito flakes
1 packet ( 3g )
☆ Sugar
1/3 teaspoon
☆ Soy sauce
1 1/2 teaspoon
For garnishing
Gomashio (salt with sesame seeds)
As needed

Steps

1. Mix the ☆ ingredients in a bowl.
2. Add the rice and mix well.
3. Shape into whatever you like, sprinkle gomashio on top, and it's ready.
4. Serve.
