Sukiyaki-Style Stir-Fried Beef

Sukiyaki-Style Stir-Fried Beef

When making sukiyaki seems a little too much, I cook and serve it in a pan.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Beef (shoulder or other cut of your choice)
200 g
New harvest onion
1, small
1 block (300 g)
Mizuna greens
1 bunch
50 ml
35 ml
Soy sauce
25 cc
1 tablespoon
Egg (for dipping)

1. Heat the frying pan, add the beef fat (or vegetable oil), and fry half the amount of beef.
2. Stir in the onion , mizuna greens, sake, mirin, soy sauce, and sugar, then add the remaining beef, and tofu.
3. Once the beef and vegetables are cooked, serve directly from the frying pan at the table. Dip in beaten egg, if desired.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had about 200 g of sukiyaki beef, but it was too little to go through the effort of making sukiyaki, so I made a variation of it in a frying pan. It's an easy way to prepare a sukiyaki-like meal.
