Time-Saving Cucumber, Wakame Seaweed and Shirasu Vinegar Toss

Time-Saving Cucumber, Wakame Seaweed and Shirasu Vinegar Toss

Since I'm taking care of a baby, I don't have time to cook. It's times like these that time-saving salads come in handy!

Ingredients: 2-3 servings

Cucumber
1 (100 g)
Salted wakame seaweed
20g
Shirasu (boiled)
20 g
※ Vinegar
2 tablespoons
※ Sugar
2 teaspoons
※ Salt
a small amount
※ Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon
※ Dashi stock
1 tablespoon

Steps

1. Thinly slice the cucumber. Sprinkle with salt and mix. Once they become wilted, squeeze out the moisture.
2. Rehydrate the wakame seaweed. Squeeze out the excess water, then cut into bite-sized pieces.
3. Combine the ※ ingredients, then toss with the wakame seaweed, cucumbers, and shirasu.

Story Behind this Recipe

Since I have little time but want to serve up enough variety at the table, I tend to stick to quick dishes.
Since shirasu is also good as a first food for babies, I can kill two birds with one stone!!
