For Those on a Diet Super-Delicious Natto & Tofu Salad

You can make this satisfying and super-delicious salad with your choice of dressing.

Ingredients: 1 serving

Natto (3 pack set)
1 pack
Tofu (3 pack set)
1 pack
Salt Dressing (or your choice of dressing)
as needed
Shiso leaves (optional)
1-2 leaves
Tomato (optional)
Mayonnaise (optional)
a small amount


1. Shred the cabbage with your hands and chop the cucumber into chunks. Refer to user Kaborin's "Kabo-Style Lettuce Salad" Recipe ID: 1786738 for details.
2. Add the natto, tofu and shiso leaves (if you have them) into the salad from Step 1 and mix in the dressing. Use whatever dressing you like.
3. Once the salad has been mixed it's ready to serve. If you want a low-calorie salad, eat this version.
4. If you don't mind the extra calories, try dressing the salad with some mayonnaise and adding some tomatoes. Then top the salad with some more shiso leaves if you like.

I eat this for dinner on the days that I don't have rice.

I couldn't satisfy my taste buds with cold tofu on its own so I always add natto and vegetables to give the dish some flavor.
