5-Minute Garlic Mushrooms

5-Minute Garlic Mushrooms

This is one of my family's favorite appetizers. It's a great recipe for busy times since all you really have to do is buy the mushrooms.
Mushrooms are healthy and full of fiber! It's a nice dish to have if you need an extra plate of vegetables on the table.

Button mushrooms
100-200 g
1 clove
Olive oil (or vegetable oil)
as needed
Usukuchi soy sauce
1 teaspoon
50 ml
Salt and pepper
to taste
Basil leaves (optional)
as needed

1. Combine the olive oil and garlic in a pan, and when aromatic, add the mushrooms, soy sauce, and water, and fry until the liquid completely evaporates.
2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. I tried adding king oyster mushrooms.
4. When I made this for a house party, I added basil. Add either chopped fresh basil or dried basil in Step 2.

Story Behind this Recipe

I love mushrooms, so I came up with a pan-fried mushroom dish delicately seasoned with soy sauce and a bit of salt.
