\Simple, Fried Rice-style Tofu

This doesn't use rice at all! This is a healthy, fried rice-style tofu recipe.

Ingredients: Serves 1

1 block
Your preferred filling
As much as you'd like
Vegetable oil
as needed
Salt and pepper
to taste
Soy sauce
a small amount


1. Stir-fry the tofu while crumbling it. There's no need to drain the tofu! The moisture will evaporate when you mash it using cooking chopsticks.
2. While the moisture from the tofu is evaporating, prepare your other ingredients. This time I used finely chopped cabbage and fish sausage.
3. Mix with chopsticks to prevent sticking.
4. Once the moisture has evaporated, add in the ingredients and then stir fry.
5. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce.
6. Lower the heat, and then add the egg directly, mixing it up with the chopsticks. It's done!

Story Behind this Recipe

I wanted to eat something that tasted like rice but used stir-fried tofu. I made this on a whim while on my diet.
