Easy Cheesy Spinach Sauté - Good for Bento

Nothing beats soy sauce and cheese in a bento. Serve as a side dish or with fish meunière. It's low calorie too (only 107 kcal)!


200g (1/2 bunch)
Melting sliced cheese
1 slice
Salt and pepper
1/8 teaspoon
Soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon


1. Roughly cut the spinach into fourths and rinse. No need to drain well.
2. In a non-stick pan over medium-low heat, fry until wilted. Rinse once in water to remove scum.
3. In the same pan, add the spinach, salt and pepper, soy sauce, and cheese in that order. When the cheese melts, it's done.
4. It's delicious served as is.
