Easy Ketchup Meat Sauce Pasta

Easy Ketchup Meat Sauce Pasta

I didn't have any tomato sauce so I used ketchup to make this meat sauce. This is a vegetable filled meat sauce pasta.

Ingredients: 2 servings

160 - 200 g
(Meat Sauce)
Ground pork
150 g
2 cm
King oyster mushroom
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Cake flour
1 tablespoon
1 tablespoon
Consomme soup stock granules
1 teaspoon
3 tablespoons
Tonkatsu sauce (Japanese style Worcestershire sauce or steak sauce)
1 teaspoon

1. Mince the onion, carrot, and king oyster mushroom.
2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan and cook the ground pork on medium heat.
3. Lower the heat to low and add the vegetables to Step 2. Season with salt and pepper. When the onions have become transparent, add in the flour. Gently continue cooking until no longer powdery.
4. Add the sake, water, and consomme to Step 3.
5. Mix in the ketchup to Step 4. Boil the pasta.
6. Add the tonkatsu sauce to Step 5 and stir it in. Lower the heat even more and let it simmer while stirring occasionally.
7. Once Step 6 has thickened, turn off the heat.
8. Arrange the pasta on a dish.
9. Top Step 8 with the sauce, optionally sprinkle with grated cheese, and it's done!
