Easy Okonomiyaki with Flour

Follow this recipe for easy okonomiyaki batter made from scratch.
This recipe should yield about 4 servings, but you can store any leftovers in the freezers.

Ingredients

White flour
2 cups
Water
1 1/2 cups
Egg
1
Dashi stock powder
3 teaspoons
Cabbage
1/2
Thinly sliced pork belly
5-6 slices
Squid tentacles
4
Easy melting cheese
1 handful
Okonomiyaki sauce
To taste
Mayonnaise
To taste

Steps

1. Dissolve flour in listed amount of water. Add soup stock granules and eggs. Mix well.
2. Add shredded cabbage and pork chopped into bite-sized pieces into the mixture from Step 1. Also add the squid tentacles and cheese.
3. Pour the mixture (Step 2) into a greased frying pan and pan-fry thoroughly.
4. When it's cooked enough, serve with mayonnaise and sauce.

Story Behind this Recipe

I had so much cabbage that I wanted to use it up. Since I didn't have okonomiyaki flour, I used regular flour instead.
