Easy Fresh Pasta No. 10 (Campana Fusilli)

I'm posting for my own record. Wrap these round and round a thin stick to make cute pasta.

Ingredients: Your preferred pasta dough

Bread (strong) flour
100 g
Olive oil
1 teaspoon
1/3 teaspoon
Water (to form the dough)
about 50 ml


1. Prepare the pasta dough. To make it yourself, as well as various sauces, refer to (Recipe ID: 2140040).
2. Stretch the dough out thinly and cut into flat strips.
3. Wrap the dough around something thin, like a knitting needle (I used chopsticks). It's faster to spin the needle around and around.
4. Take it off the needle and it's all done. How fun!
5. You could also stretch the dough out into a thin stick and then wrap it around the stick while pressing down on the stick to thin it out.
6. Sauce really coats the pasta well between the spirals.
7. This fusilli came out better than expected! I used this pasta another day in a broccoli and chicken soup. See (Recipe ID: 2213780).
