Tofu Hamburgers-like? Tamagoyaki for Bentos

These are easy to eat even if you have a cold or are otherwise not feeling too well. This tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) is easy to digest, nutritious and can be the main feature of a bento.


75g (1/2 of a 150g package)
Dried hijiki seaweed
About 5 pods
★Dashi stock granules
1/2 teaspoon
1/2 teaspoon
a small amount


1. Lightly drain the water from the tofu, rehydrate the hijiki seaweed in water, and remove the edamame from their pods. (Cut them in half if you would like to make them easier to roll up).
2. Break up the drained tofu with a spoon until creamy. It doesn't have to be perfect.
3. Add the egg, hijiki seaweed, edamame, and the ★ ingredients. Mix well, and make a rolled tamagoyaki as usual.
4. It is done . The broth makes it juicy, and even if you only use 1 egg it's quite hearty!

My husband was not feeling well. But he couldn't take the day off of work! I packed his bento with easily digestible and nutritious foods...
I wanted to make him tofu burgers, but I didn't have time to make them in the morning, do I added in tamagoyaki!
