Macrobiotic & Easy Deep Fried Soy Meat

I used soy meat to make this deep fried dish. It tastes similar to fried chicken.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Dried soy meat
40 g
Sake
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
1 tablespoon
Ginger
1 knob
Garlic
1 clove
Sesame oil
1 teaspoon
Katakuriko
as needed

Steps

1. Soak the soy meat in hot water for 5 minutes and squeeze the water out. Put in a bowl and add the sake, soy sauce, grated ginger, grated garlic and sesame oil.
2. Mix well and marinate for about 5 minutes. Remove any excess liquid and coat with katakuriko. Deep fry in oil.
3. Place a lettuce leaf (or similar leafy vegetable) on the serving plate and place the deep fried soy meat on top.
4. I used this soy meat this time. I used 1/3 of a 130 g packet.
