Easy Salmon à la Meunière without Butter

Easy Salmon à la Meunière without Butter

This is an easy dish, which only requires seasoning, coating with flour, and pan-frying.

Ingredients: 2 servings

Raw salmon filet
2 pieces
Salt and pepper
a small amount
2 tablespoons
1 teaspoon
Lemon slice
2 slices

1. Sprinkle both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper. I used Krazy Salt and coarsely ground black pepper.
2. Coat with flour. Heat oil in a pan, and pan-fry both sides until lightly browned. Cover with a lid, and cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, then flip and cook another 2 minutes over low heat.
3. Serve on a plate with lemon slices.

Story Behind this Recipe

Pan-frying with butter makes it fragrant, but I used grapeseed oil this time. Regular vegetable oil is also good.
