Easy Clam Pasta

Easy Clam Pasta

A simple clam pasta with a delicious butter garlic aroma.

Ingredients: 1 serving

1 serving
Manila clams (asari)
150 g
Olive oil
1 tablespoon
Garlic (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon
White wine
Pasta boiling water
1 tablespoon
Soy sauce
a little
Black pepper
a pinch

1. Put the clams in salt water while we prepare the pasta.
2. Clean the clams of sand and salt. If you are making a large amount, you can freeze the leftovers for later (Recipe ID: 1050865).
3. In a pan, heat olive oil and garlic and over low.
4. When the garlic becomes aromatic, pour in the white wine on high heat. Cover and simmer on low to medium heat until the clams open.
5. As the clams start to open, remove the lid. When they look ready, add in the pasta and stir. At this point, add in the soy sauce.
6. Then serve on a plate with a sprinkle of pepper.

Story Behind this Recipe

Seasonal steamed clams are good if steamed, but I like to make them into pasta instead.
